Wii Fit, the Future of Fitness?
In a perfect world we'd all be contestants on the Biggest Loser®, but until that happens we've got to stick to the basics. Our options are plenty. Join a gym. Work out at home. Eat better. Watch a fitness video. Run for President. We've got plenty of options, but with the Wii you get one more. Nintendo has introduced a game and Balance Board called Wii Fit. With this game the Wii can weigh you and provide your body mass index (as long as you tell the truth about your height). It's got about 40 activities to keep you busy including Boxing, Jogging, Push Ups, Step Arobics and Yoga.
It keeps track of your stats and lets you compare to other Wii users through the Wii Menu. In the future they may introduce Wii Connect24 to allow you to upload your stats to a Doctor or Physical Therapist. Imagine the cost savings in not having to go into the Doctors office for every activity.
